Congress Party Vice President Niranjan will take the certificate from the Election Officer on his behalf.
Abhishek Singhvi has been serving the Congress party for a long time. Since 2001, he has been working as the National Representative of Congress. He continued as a member of the Rajya Sabha for two terms (2006, 2018). In the Rajya Sabha elections held in March this year, he contested from Himachal Pradesh and lost to the BJP. Although some local leaders tried for Rajya Sabha membership from Telangana, Singhvi’s services in national politics were crucial for the Congress, so he was allowed to become the president.
