ABVP Calls Bandh To Protest High School Fee In Private Schools
Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): ABVP State Committee on Thursday demanded that the State government take immediate steps to reduce exorbitant school fee being charged by the corporate and private schools in the State. It called for a Statewide bandh of educational institutions on June 28 and 29 in protest against the steep hike in the fee structure.
The State ABVP secretary A Kiran and member of Central working committee Praveen Reddy have alleged that the fee being charged by the private schools was destroying the lives of ordinary people in the state. They demanded that the State government enact a Fee Regulation Act in the State and also implement GO 91 strictly. They also demanded that the government constitute DFRC implement Right to Education Act besides registering criminal cases against the erring school managements. (Maxim News)
