ACB Raids Nizamabad Municipal Office: RI Caught Taking Bribe
Nizamabad/Hyderabad, Sept 3 (Maxim News): Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted raids on the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation on Wednesday. A victim complained to the ACB officials that a municipal employee was demanding a bribe from him.
Following this, the ACB raided the municipal office under the leadership of DSP Shekhar Goud. Srinivas Chari, who is working as an RI (Revenue Inspector) in Nizamabad Zone 2 and Zone 4, was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials who had already been there for a while after accepting a bribe of Rs. 7,000 from a retired army employee.
Currently, ACB officials are collecting details from other officials and employees at the municipal office. However, the said RI Srinivasachari, who was caught by the ACB today, was previously working at the Bodhan Municipality. It was learned from the employees that the said employee was also caught by the ACB there while he was working there. (Maxim News)
