Hyderabad, Oct 13 (Maxim News): Telangana State DGP Shivdhar Reddy has once again highlighted his philosophy of far and friendly professional policing. To this extent, he has written a letter to the state police personnel.
‘Public safety is our main responsibility. Welfare of police personnel is my personal priority. There is no room for civil disputes in police stations. There are civil courts for civil disputes. We will take action if a civil panchayat is set up next to a police station.
Uniform and corruption do not go together. If a single person takes a bribe, the entire department gets a bad name. We will be strict if a bribe is taken in the department.
Technology should be used along with basic policing. Remind the poor that the police are there in times of difficulty and danger. The poor always remember those who helped them in times of danger,’ the DGP said in the letter. (Maxim News)
