Aditya L1: India Reaches Another Milestone: PM Modi Tweets On ISRO Success
Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News): Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has achieved another feat. ISRO scientists have successfully launched Aditya L1, which was launched to study the Sun into its final orbit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, he congratulated the scientists who made the experiment successful. It was announced that India has reached another milestone.
Scientists sent Aditya L1 into a halo orbit around the Lagrange point. 15 lakh kilometers from Earth towards the sun. It is constantly monitoring the Sun there. Aditya L1 aims to study the solar atmosphere in depth. It is known that this is the first mission undertaken by ISRO to the Sun for research.
The experiment was carried out from Sriharikota on September 2 last year. The spacecraft carried seven payloads. Aditya L1 will provide vital information to study solar atmosphere, solar flares, coronal mass ejection etc. (Maxim News)
