Agricultural Officer Caught By ACB For Accepting A Bribe Of Rs. 30,000 

Medak/Hyderabad, May 16 (Maxim News): An Agriculture officer was caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for taking a bribe of Rs. 30 thousand for issuing a trade license.

The incident took place on Thursday in Narsapur town of Medak district.  

According to the ACB DSP K.Sedarshan, farmer Vanga Naresh of Salura Camp village of Bodhan Mandal of Nizamabad district approached Narsapur Agriculture Officer Anil Kumar for the issue of trade license.

Agriculture Officer Anil Kumar demanded a bribe for this and the victim approached the ACB officials.  He said that the ACB officials caught him red-handed while giving bribes as per their instructions.  Government officials have warned that taking bribes from people will lead to legal action.  If the government officials demand a bribe, they are advised to contact the ACB officials.  (Maxim News)
