AIMA Releases MAT September 2025 Notification for MBA Admissions Across 600+ B-Schools

Delhi/Hyderabad, July 31 (News News): The All India Management Association (AIMA) has officially released the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) notification for the September 2025 session, inviting applications for MBA and PGDM admissions into over 600 business schools across India.

The MAT is a national-level entrance exam, conducted four times a year—in February, May, September, and December—and is widely recognized by management institutes for postgraduate business admissions.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Those currently in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their degree pass certificate at the time of admission.

  • No age limit applies for the MAT exam, making it accessible to a wide range of candidates.

Exam Formats and Fee Structure

AIMA offers the MAT in three formats:

  • Paper-Based Test (PBT)
  • Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Both PBT + CBT

Fee details:

  • For PBT or CBT (any one) – ₹2200
  • For both PBT + CBT – ₹3750 (₹2200 + ₹1550)

Candidates opting for a single mode can send their MAT scores to five business schools. Those choosing both modes will be able to send their scores to seven institutes, giving them a broader reach in terms of MBA college options.

MAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The MAT exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, divided into five sections, with a total duration of 120 minutes.
