AIMIM, BJP In MLC Race Of Local Bodies

Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): AIMIM and BJP will contest the Hyderabad local body MLC elections. To this end, Mirza Riaz ul Hasan Effendi as the Majlis party candidate and senior party leader Dr. N.Gautam Rao as the BJP candidate filed their nominations on Friday. In this election, there are a total of 112 voters from Hyderabad area, including 81 corporators and 29 ex-officio members.

In 2019, Mirza Riaz ul Hasan Effendi was elected as a member of the Legislative Council from the MLA quota. His term ended on March 29.

It is noteworthy that the Majlis has once again finalized him as a candidate for the MLC elections from GHMC. He was first elected as the Nurkhan Bazar division Corporator in the GHMC elections held in 2009 and for the second time as the Dabirpura Corporator in 2016.

The Majlis has again finalized Mirza Riaz ul Hasan Effendi as a candidate for the Legislative Council elections due to his closeness to party chief Asaduddin Owaisi, his dedication to the party, and his recommendation from Shia leaders.

Highly educated and chairman of Vignan Bharathi Vidya Sanstha, Dr. N.Gautam Rao has been given the opportunity by the BJP to contest as an MLC candidate in the Hyderabad local body elections.

As an RSS worker and ABVP student, he has been actively involved in politics. He has been in the BJP for the past 15 years. He served as the Hyderabad Central District President until recently.

The BJP has focused on this election after its landslide victory in the recently held MLC elections for graduates and teachers. (Maxim News)
