The air cargo industry can turn into an economy enabler with a collaborative and consultative approach between the stakeholders including private sector air cargo and logistics industry and the Government, according to Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha.
Addressing a roundtable on cargo and logistics on Friday at WINGS INDIA 2018, organised by FICCI jointly with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airport Authority of India, he said Government will play a facilitator role in regulation and policy. Initiatives are underway for a comprehensive involvement of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Revenue, he said.
