Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Final Sortie In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 20 (Maxim News): Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal AP Singh completed his final flying sortie in an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft on Tuesday. He flew the HJT-16 Kiran Mk-1 trainer, closing a flying career that began more than four decades ago.

The 55-minute sortie was flown with his first flying instructor, Wing Commander V S Kochar (Retd), in the aircraft with tail number U 707. The IAF described it as a reunion between instructor and student that took the CAS back to the start of his flying journey.
