Air Force Station Begumpet Celebrates 91st  Anniversary Of Indian Air Force

Secunderabad,09, Oct,2023: To commemorate the glorious 91 years of excellence, perseverance, valour and untiring efforts of the air warriors in securing the aerospace of the nation, the Indian Air Force celebrated its anniversary on 08 Oct 2023. Established in the year 1932 with a handful of men and machine, the IAF has made gigantic leaps in terms of operational might and it is one of the largest air force in the world.

Apart from being the vanguard of the Indian Aerospace, the IAF has always been forefront in rendering the humanitarian assistance to the people during natural and manmade calamities, in all weather conditions, irrespective of terrain. The recent evacuation during the natural calamities bears true testimony of its unwavering commitments towards its motto – ‘People First Mission Always’.

As part of the momentous occasion, the 91st anniversary was celebrated with josh and fervor on 08 Oct 32 at Air Force Station Begumpet. A series of commemorative events that includes tea with civilians on 04 Oct 23, Cocktail with Senior Non-Commissioned Officers on 05 Oct 23, Barakhana in Airmen Mess on 06 Oct 23, SNCOs at Home in Officers Mess on 06 Oct 23, Social Evening in officers mess on 07 Oct 23 and Oath taking on 09 Oct 23 were held.
