Ajit Pawar plane crash | Mumbai/Hyderabad, Jan. 28 : A plane carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar crash-landed on Wednesday morning at Baramati airport, authorities and early reports said.
Eyewitnesses said the aircraft became unstable during landing and veered off the runway. Emergency crews responded quickly, and several people on board were reported injured.

Officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed multiple injuries at the scene but did not immediately detail the condition of Ajit Pawar.

The incident occurred as the aircraft attempted to land around 9 am, after departing from Mumbai earlier in the morning.
Ajit Pawar had been scheduled to attend public meetings in Baramati related to local body polls.
Airport operations were disrupted briefly as emergency services secured the site and aided rescue work.
Officials are investigating the exact cause of the crash, including whether technical issues or other factors contributed.
