Akbar Owaisi lauds the Aga Khan Trust for Culture for restoration work

Hyderabad, Oct. 28 (Maxim News): AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi Meets the CEO, Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) Ratish Nanda at Party Headquarters, Darussalam and lauds the conservation efforts at historic Qutub Shahi tombs

Aga Khan Trust for Culture is carrying out the conservation works since last 8 years, Nearly 75 percent of conservation work of the Tombs is completed and remaining works will be completed by 2025 , says Ratish Nanda.

In recently held Assembly session Akbaruddin Owaisi on the Floor of the House lauded the Aga Khan Trust for Culture’s (AKTC) work to improve the condition of the Qutub Shahi tombs and appreciated their efforts which has given new strength to the 600-year old heritage structure.

Akbaruddin Owaisi has requested the CEO Ratish Nanda to take up the restoration works of Paigah Tombs Complex at Pisalbanda, Kanchanbagh. The Paigah tombs are among the major wonders of Hyderabad city and are known for their architectural excellence as shown in their laid mosaic tiles and craftsmanship work. But now Paigah Tombs look deserted and totally uncared and neglected by the state government .

Aga Khan Trust for Culture has agreed to take up restoration works at Paigah tombs and Akbar Owaisi along with the representatives of Aga khan trust will visit the Paigah tombs in the month of November.

Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, MLA Yakutpura, Kausar Mohiuddin, MLA Karwan and representatives from Aga Khan Trust for Culture were present in the meeting. (Maxim News)
