Almas Khan Emerges as Strong Contender for DCC President, Vows to Rebuild Congress at Grassroots
Hyderabad, Oct 15: Telangana Youth Congress Elected State General Secretary and Adilabad District Incharge Almas Khan has officially entered the DCC President race from Nirmal, after meeting and submitting his nomination to Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan AICC Coordinator Ajay Dharam Singh, MLA – Karnataka.
In his statement, Almas Khan emphasized that his decision stems from years of grassroots experience and unwavering loyalty to the Congress ideology. “The lack of consistent leadership engagement and limited access to higher command have created a disconnect between the cadre and the leadership, affecting our collective performance,” he noted.
Having actively worked across all Assembly segments of the united Adilabad district, Khan highlighted his deep understanding of the party’s organizational strengths, weaknesses, and the aspirations of Congress workers. “With effective, inclusive, and dynamic leadership, the Congress can be restored to its rightful strength in our district,” he asserted.
Almas Khan pledged to bring renewed coordination, discipline, and connectivity between the grassroots and the high command. He said his vision focuses on rebuilding the Congress network, empowering genuine party workers, and ensuring strong electoral results in the coming elections.
“I seek this responsibility not for privilege, but to rejuvenate the Congress spirit in Nirmal with dedication, unity, and accountability,” Khan affirmed, reflecting the tone of a young yet seasoned leader ready to lead from the front.
