Amaravati Bill Passed In Parliament

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): Parliament has approved the bill to legalize Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Both houses have unanimously approved this Amaravati bill. Later, the Center will send this bill to the President.

After President Draupadi Murmu signs this bill, a gazette notification will be issued. With this, Amaravati will come into effect as the sole capital of AP.

With the approval of this bill, Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan has conveyed his best wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Celebrations are in full swing in the capital Amaravati as this bill has been passed in both houses of Parliament. (Maxim News)
