Ambulance Overturned After Hitting Divider, An Oxygen Cylinder Exploded
Hyderabad, July 25 (Maxim News): An ambulance met with a road accident while returning from leaving a patient who was treated at the hospital at his home. Ambulance driver Mahesh (35) died in this incident. The accident took place in the early hours of Tuesday at BN Reddy Nagar chowrasta in the city.
According to Vanasthalipuram CI Jalandhar Reddy, the patient who was treated at a private hospital in Malakpet was taken to his home in Ibrahimpatnam in an ambulance. Later, while returning, the ambulance hit the divider at the BN Reddy intersection on Sagar Road. Due to the high speed, the vehicle overturned and the driver sustained serious injuries.
As a result, the driver became unconscious. But at the same time, the oxygen cylinder in the ambulance exploded. As a result, the ambulance was destroyed. As the driver died in the process, the body was shifted to Osmania Mortuary. No one was injured as there were no other vehicles on the road at the time of the incident.
