Amrit Bharat Express 2.0 Connects Charlapalli With Thiruvananthapuram

Hyderabad, Jan. 23: Amrit Bharat Express 2.0 was introduced for Telangana on Friday, connecting Charlapalli with Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the new service along with three other passenger trains.

This is the second Amrit Bharat Express service linked to Telangana. Earlier, an Amrit Bharat Express has been operating between Charlapalli and Muzaffarpur in Bihar.

Amrit Bharat Express 2.0 schedule and operations

According to railway officials, the Amrit Bharat Express 2.0 train number 17041 will depart from Charlapalli every Tuesday at 7.15 am. It will reach Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday at 2.45 pm.

On the return journey, train number 17042 will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 5.30 pm on Wednesday. It will arrive at Charlapalli on Thursday at 11.30 pm.

With the launch of Amrit Bharat Express 2.0, rail connectivity between Telangana and Kerala has improved further. Officials said the new service is expected to benefit long distance passengers by providing an additional affordable travel option.
