Andhra: MLC Pothula Sunitha Quits TDP

Ongole: Telugu Desam Party received a severe jolt on Wednesday when its Member of Legislative Council from Prakasam district, Potula Sunita sent her resignation letter quitting the council to the AP Legislative Council chairman on Wednesday.

Sunita said, she had decided to resign from the Council in resentment of the anti-people policies of the TDP, she also alleged that the TDP was trying to stall development of the state initiated by the YSR Congress Party government and adopted policies opposed to the BC, SC and ST sections in the state.
