Andhra: Over 62 Lakh Beneficiaries To Get Pension From Today

All is set for the distribution of pensions to 62,79,486 beneficiaries from August 1 under YSR Pension Kanuka in Andhra Pradesh.

AP Deputy CM Budi Mutyala Naidu said that the government has already released Rs 1,596.77 crore and further stated that 3.10 lakh new beneficiaries have been added to the list.

Speaking to the media at his camp office at Taruva in Devarapalli mandal of Anakapalle district on Sunday, Budi Mutyala Naidu said that volunteers are going to distribute the pensions to the beneficiaries starting Monday.

As many as 2.66 lakh volunteers across the state are ready to disburse pensions to the beneficiaries from the early hours of Monday. Deputy CM said that he has directed the village volunteers to complete the distribution of pensions within five days.

Biometric and IRIS systems are being implemented for identification at the time of disbursement of pensions to beneficiaries and RBIS (Real Time Beneficiary Identification System) system has also been introduced.

He also asserted that all precautions have been taken to ensure that all the beneficiaries should get the pension. The distribution of pensions is being monitored through call centres at DRDA offices in 26 districts of the state.
