Andhra Pradesh: Covid Testing Price Reduced In Private Labs

The AP government has reduced the price charged by private laboratories for coronavirus testing. Earlier, private labs used to collect Rs 2,400 for testing each sample sent by the AP government.

Now, the government has reduced to Rs 1,600. The private labs used to charge Rs 2,900 for testing (each sample) people with Covid symptoms and the same was reduced to Rs 1,900. In this regard, the Medical and Health Department has issued orders. On the other hand, the state government said that prices of corona testing kits reduced due to their availability.
