Another Twist In Srushti Fertility Scam: Crores Of Rupees In Banks Accounts

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News): The police investigation in the Gopalapuram Srishti Fertility Hospital case has gained momentum. The police have recently arrested 6 people in this case and sent them to remand. It is reported that a total of 17 people have been arrested and sent to remand so far. Among those arrested are doctors and agents, especially female agents.

In this case, 8 FiRs have been registered against Dr. Namrata, the main accused in the case, at Gopalapuram police station alone. Along with her, the police have also arrested and remanded renowned gynecologist Dr. Vidyulatha. The police have frozen the bank accounts and hospital accounts of Dr. Namrata. The officials have identified that crores of rupees have been deposited in these accounts. Currently, they are in the process of identifying some other accounts as well.

According to the details revealed in the investigation so far, the police have revealed that more than 70 couples came for IVF treatment through the Srushti Fertility Center and were cheated in the name of surrogacy.

There is solid evidence that Dr Namrata of the Shrishti Fertility Hospital and some others are involved in child trafficking. The Gopalapuram police once again went to the Shrishti Hospital and seized key documents and records. These will become key evidence in support of the case. Also, it is reported that some more arrests may be made today. (Maxim News)
