Andhra Pradesh Budget Session From June 16
Amaravathi, June 7 (Maxim News): The budget session of AP Assembly is likely to begin from June 16 of this month. The highly placed sources from the state government have said that the governor of the state Biswabhushan Harichandan would address the house on the first session of the budget session. The state finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy would introduce the budget on June 18 of this month.
Although the budget session was scheduled to be held in March this year, it had to be adjourned due to the outbreak of corona virus in the state. The state government later issued an ordinance and approved the budget for a period of four months. As the last date for the expiry of the vote on account budget would come to an end on June 30th of this month, the state government is expected to convene the budget session to approve the annual budget. On the other hand, the Rajya Sabha elections are scheduled to be held on June 19 and all the MLAs are expected to take part in the voting of the Rajya Sabha elections. (Maxim News)
