AP Govt. Distributes Ration To Victims Of Unknown Disease In Eluru
The government of Andhra Pradesh led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has extended its condolences to the victims of a unknown disease in Eluru. Deputy Chief Minister and Medical Health Minister Alla Nani on Sunday visited the victims who returned home after medical treatment. On Saturday, the minister visited Sivagopalapuram and Yadavanagar areas in Tangelamudi and visited the victims at home. On Sunday, he visited Eluru One Town area and inquired about the health condition of the victims.
They were reassured that the government would stand in support to them. Meanwhile, the Minister himself handed over essential items to the affected families. Meanwhile, a total of 650 affected families in Eluru have been provided essential items by the government through volunteers and secretariat staff, officials said.
On the other hand, the doctors and experts have been focusing on this incurable disease for the last few days. However, not a single case of this mysterious disease has been reported in the last 24 hours while four people are currently receiving treatment at Eluru Hospital.
While 29 people have been discharged from Vijayawada hospital, six others are receiving treatment there. They will also be discharged as soon as they recover. Authorities were in sigh of relief as no recent cases were registered. So far, a total of 615 cases have been reported in West Godavari district.
