AP Guv releases book on ‘Swatantra Spoorti – Telugu Deepti’

Vijayawada, Nov.4 (NSS): Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan released a book brought out in Telugu with the title ‘Swatantra Spoorti – Telugu Deepti’ to commemorate the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, at a programme held in Raj Bhavan here on Friday.

Governor Harichandan appreciated the efforts of Dr. B.A. Reddy, President and other members of Art Associations Guild for bringing out the ‘Swatantra spoorti– Telugu Deepti’ book containing illustrations of 133 eminent freedom fighters from both Telugu States with brief information on their contribution to the freedom movement. He said youth and children will be benefited by the book and it will go a long way in rekindling the spirit of patriotism among all.

R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, Subhash Babu, Vice President, Ramesh, Convener, Artists Apparao, Sekhar and other members of the Art Associations Guild, were present on the occasion. (NSS)
