AP RAINS: Pawan Kalyan Demands Rs 10K For Affected Farmers

Nellore: Jana Sena Party Chief K Pawan Kalyan demanded the state government immediately to release financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to the cyclone-affected farmers across the state. He addressed the media at a hotel in the city on Saturday and said Rs. 35,000 should be supported to the farmers who lost their crops in more than 17 lakh acres.

He said that the state government which promised total prohibition of liquor in the state had finally introduced its own liquor brands and suggested to divert the revenue of Rs. 16,000 Cr for the welfare of the farmers at least a year for their well being. He said Jana Sena cadres are staging protests on Dec 7th supporting the cause of farmers.
