Apprehended One Person In Possession Ganja Weighing About 2.8 KGS

Hyderabad, June 7 (Maxim News):  Sleuths of the Commission’s Task Force, Central zone team, along with Abid Road Police apprehended one person by the name Mustapur Prashanth, age 28 years, occu: Pani Puri Bandi, resident of  Muralidar Bagh, Abids,  who is found in possession of contraband narcotic drug i.e. ganja, while he was trying to sell it to needy customers, in front of Ramakrishna theatre Gate under the limits of Abid Road PS. 

.1 packet of ganja 9 wrapped in  brown colour tape)  along with one Smart cell phone seized. 

 P. Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force said that the accused Mustapur Prashanth is running Pani Puri Business in the limits of Abids having two stalls one near Taj Mahal Hotel X road and another at Bharathi Vidya Bhavan Road, as his business is not sufficient to meet his increased day to day lavish expenses due to which he hatched a plan to sale the Contraband Narcotic Drug i,e, ganja as there is more demand for ganja in Hyderabad.  As per his plan, he purchased the said ganja from one person by the name Yashwanth @ Goutham, age around 25 years, resident of Jali Hanuman, dhoolpet, (Absconding) for Rs. 25,000 and decided to sell it for Rs. 45,000 per kg.  As per his plan, he came to near Rama Krishna Theatre Gate on June 6, in the early hours and tried to sell the said ganja to needy customers. 

In the meantime on credible information, the commissioner’s task force, Central Zone team along with Abid Road Police apprehended the accused Mustapur Prashanth who is in possession of one cloth bag containing a packet from which a heavy smell was coming out of it, when opened the bag found 1 packet of ganja wrapped with brown tape.  Along with the accused and seized ganja was handed over to SHO Abid Road PS for further action.

The arrest was made under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD) Commissioner’s Task Force along with R. Raghunath, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Task Force team, SI S.Sai Kiran, Ch. Naveen Kumar along with the staff of the Central Zone Task Force team and Abid Road Police team.  (Maxim News)
