While the ruling party describes this bill as being in favor of the welfare of ordinary Muslims, during the eleven years of this party’s rule, atrocities on Muslims have been committed on one pretext or another, and incidents of bulldozing countless houses, mosques, monasteries, shrines, graveyards and other properties of Muslims, even despite court orders.

The bulldozer rule in BJP-ruled states is proof that their claims of welfare of Muslims are false. During the debate on this bill in Parliament, the ruling party members have misled the guardian of democracy, Parliament, through false claims and false statements. On the pretext of numerical strength and majority, the country’s largest minority has been marginalized.

The approval of the bill is currently subject to the President’s assent and publication of the gazette notification, but according to the information being received from the BJP-ruled states of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Assam, official claims have started on numerous endowment properties even though the law is not yet complete.

The United Muslim Forum thanked all the opposition members of Parliament, who opposed this bill on constitutional, legal and other grounds. The strength with which the opposition members of Parliament, including a large number of non-Muslim members, took a stand against the bill is commendable.

By presenting some so-called Muslims under the influence of the RSS branch Muslim Rashtriya Manch and others in support of the bill, the government and its media are trying to prove that Muslims are in favor of this bill. When the BJP has so much sympathy for Muslims, then why is it that their party does not have a single member of the Muslim community, which constitutes 20 percent of the population, in Parliament. In the Islamic country of Malaysia, there are only 4 ministers from this community in the federal government for the 7 percent Tamil population and in addition, they have been provided separate representation in the provincial governments.

The Muslim identity of the so-called Muslims who support the Waqf Amendment Bill is suspect. Society should think about them. On the support of the bill by the Janata Dal-U and the Telugu Desam Party, the forum officials said that the people should teach a lesson to the Telugu Desam and other traitorous allied parties and boycott their commercial products.

Muslims should not have any hope from Naidu, who stabbed his benefactor and father-in-law, the late NT Rama Rao, in the back. The forum officials appealed to the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to boycott various commercial products of the Naidu family, Heritage Food, and Vijay Dairy of Andhra Pradesh and other products.

The United Muslim Forum appealed to the Muslims and other secular leaders associated with Telugu Desam to listen to the voice of their conscience and come out of the illusion of the fake secular Naidu. The forum has started efforts to organize various public awareness programs to make the common citizens aware of the losses caused by the Waqf Bill.
