Arrested Two Accused Involved In Trading Fraud

Hyderabad, March 21 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime Police, Hyderabad City arrested two accused persons namely 1) Tamanam Surendra, 2) D. Naresh Babu who was involved in a Trading fraud case and provided various  Bank accounts to fraudsters, cheated the complainant in the guise of getting high returns on Trading, and seized Lenovo Laptop, Redmi 12 5 G and Redmi note 6 pro.

According D. Kavitha, Dy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad city, said that In February 2024 received a complaint from a victim resident of Hyderabad stating that the accused person contacted him on WhatsApp app and added in WhatsApp group Goldman (India) Sachs Securities Investment Management Ltd. after that fraudsters sent a link to the complainant.  Further, the complainant believed they clicked the link downloaded the app, and invested an amount in online trading.  He believed it to be genuine and registered on their website. Initially, they suggested investing smaller amounts and returning a profit.  In this manner, they convinced him to make payment and at last, they gave a huge amount but they didn’t return the money and he lost a total amount of Rs. 57,37,536/-. 

In this case, the accused persons 1) Tamanam Surendra, 2) Damacharla Naresh Babu R/o Uppal, Hyderabad, who are account holders were arrested on 20-03-2024, they met persons by the name Raj Takur, R/o Delhi (Absconding), Jagadesh, R/o Nellore (Absconding) and Bharath Dasineni, R/o Nellore (Absconding) on Telegram App and supplied accounts to them on commission basis 1.5% per one lakh transaction they get 1500/-. The accused persons supplied 8 accounts to the fraudsters, and within 3 months the transaction amounted 5 Crore rupees.  As per NCRP data 83 cases registered all over India against the accounts supplied by them.
