Hyderabad, Dec.5 (Maxim News): Former Minister DK Aruna said that she would hold a two-day “Mahila Sankalpa Deeksha” protest demanding that the State government ban sale of liquor in the State. She said the protest would be held at Indira park on December 11 and 12.
The BJP leader urged the political leaders and civil society activists to extend their support to her protest program. Speaking to the media, she made it clear that liquor and drug addiction were the two main reasons for increasing crimes against the women. She also said time had come for prohibiting liquor in the State. She also slammed the Chief Minister for his silence on the gory murder of Disha in the State. (Maxim News)
