Aryan Khan Sensational Arrest LIVE Updates: To Appear Before The Esplanade Court For Bail
Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be produced before the Esplanade Court, today, October 7 for his bail hearing in the ongoing cruise ship drugs case.
The star kid, along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and others arrested, including Munmun Dhamecha will be produced before the Magistrate at 2.30 pm as the Narcotics Control Bureau’s extended custody comes to an end today.
The central agency, that initially wanted custody of seven till October 11, are now likely to seek extended custody after the arrest of a foreign national drug supplier.
According to the report, the NCB arrested a foreign national from Bandra late Wednesday night and recovered a commercial quantity of mephedrone (MD) from him.
The man in question was reportedly found in an area that was in close proximity to both Aryan and his friend, Arbaaz Merchant. In the light of these new findings, it has been reported that the central agency may just ask to extend the custody citing a probable international drug link.
Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun have been charged with sections 8(c) read with sections 20b, 27, 28, 29 and 35 under the NDPS Act.
Aryan, 23, was first sent into NCB’s custody for one day and then, on Monday, October 4, his custody was extended to October 7. The period ends today.
Man In Viral Selfie With Aryan Khan Is… Maharashtra Minister’s Claim
The man who took a viral selfie with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan after his detention in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case is a private investigator, a Maharashtra Minister alleged on Wednesday, questioning how two outsiders were allowed in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)’s operation.
Nawab Malik, a senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, said private detective KP Gosavi is the man seen holding Aryan Khan’s hand and leading him to the NCB office on Sunday.
Mr Malik said Manish Bhanushali, a BJP Vice President, was also seen in visuals of the raids. This, he said, proved a BJP hand in “maligning Maharashtra with a fake drug bust”.
“Our allegation is that for the last one year the BJP is maligning Maharashtra. They have locked the profiles of Manish Bhanushali and Gosavi.
Who was Manish Bhanushali meeting in Delhi and Gujarat? How is he present at an NCB raid? BJP is using NCB to malign Maharashtra,” Nawab Malik alleged.
Refuting the allegations, Manish Bhanushali told media, “NCP leader Nawab Malik has put wrong allegations against me. BJP has nothing to do with it (the arrests).
I received information on October 1 that a drugs party was to be held. I was with the NCB officers (at the ship) for more information.”
