As Usual Union Budget Is Old Wine In New Bottle: Kodanda Reddy
Hyderabad, Feb.1 (Maxim News): All India Kisan Congress M. Kodanda Reddy, TPCC general secretaries Kailash and Prem Lal termed Union Budget as an Old Wine in New Bottle.
In a statement today, they said there was nothing new in the budget speech of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman. They said the Union government had once again used its statement of doubling the income of the agriculture sector of the country. They made it clear that there was nothing in the budget to increase the income of the people of rural areas in the country.
They have ridiculed that the Budget was meant to benefit the corporate and private companies. They said it was most unfortunate that the government had decided to sell away its stake in LIC and IDBI companies. They also alleged that the decision to invite investments in PPP mode in Health and Railways was nothing but opening the doors of the two sectors to private players. They said the people in the entire country have lost faith in the banks after the Demonetization of big currency notes. They said the budget was aimed at misleading the people in the country.
