Asaduddin Owaisi Slams Congress Candidates For Making Islamophobic Comments

Asaduddin Owaisi | Hyderabad, Oct 31 (Maxim News): AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi sounds alarm over the rising atmosphere of hatred and division against the Muslims in Telangana state. 

Asaduddin Owaisi has taken to Twitter to voice his concerns. He emphasizes that such divisive rhetoric poses a significant threat to the peaceful coexistence that the state has enjoyed, pointing out that the Congress candidate from Sanathnagar Kota Neelima has expressed her intentions to allocate government funds to encourage Muslim minority women to opt out wearing the burqa/hijab

While the Nampally candidate Feroz Khan has characterized the majority of Muslim minorities in Nampally as “Taliban-style Muslims.” These comments have been widely condemned as Islamophobic and divisive. said  AIMIM Supremo and said that such divisive rhetoric poses a significant threat to the peaceful coexistence that the state has enjoyed.

These comments have also raised questions about the state of the Congress party in Telangana which is headed by the RSS man Revanth Reddy. Some have labeled the state president as an extremist, while others have expressed concern about the party’s direction. It remains to be seen how the Congress party will respond to these concerns and whether it will take steps to address the growing atmosphere of hatred and division in the state.
