Asaduddin Owaisi: TRS Will Form Govt On Its Own

Hyderabad, Dec.10 (Maxim News): Amidst speculation in the State on the election results, as the counting of votes is slated to start at 8 am on Tuesday, AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi today called on caretaker Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan here this afternoon and closeted with him for about three hours. He came to the CM’s camp office on a Triumph motorcycle taking everyone by surprise by riding his bike into the building compound, at 1.30 p.m. to meet KCR.

Speaking to the waiting mediapersons later, the AIMIM supremo made it clear that the ruling TRS would form the government on its own strength without relying on any other party. Reiterating that TRS would not need support of other parties, Asaduddin said his AIMIM party would sail with the TRS not only in the State but also at the national level because of his revolutionary welfare and development programs in the State. He made it clear that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has earned goodwill of all sections of the people and would bag handsome number of seats with their blessings.

The MIM chief also exuded confidence that his party would bag all the eight seats it contested in the city. The strength of the Bharatiya Janata Party would be revealed by Tuesday afternoon, he quipped. He also said he would call on Chief Minister KCR tomorrow again to congratulate him.

Owaisi had, earlier in the day, tweeted that the TRS is sure to win the elections and KCR will form the Government, without any support from other parties. He also made it clear that the MIM will sail with the TRS. It may be recalled that the MIM has already made it clear that the party was not expecting to be a part of the government that will be formed by TRS, but it will support the TRS party government from outside.
