The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, and the National Training Academy (NTA) of the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Dwarka, formalized a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 7, 2025, at ASCI’s Bella Vista Campus in Hyderabad. The collaboration is designed to drive innovation in healthcare training, management, and governance through shared expertise and institutional cooperation.
The partnership seeks to promote capacity building, joint research, consultancy projects, faculty exchange, and resource sharing under Mission Karmayogi and other joint activities. It establishes a framework for collaboration in fields such as health insurance, health systems management, public policy, administration, digital transformation, data protection, and governance. Both institutions have committed to advancing learning excellence and policy innovation for national progress.
The MoU was signed by Dr. O.P. Singh, Registrar and Secretary of ASCI, and Dr. Sunita Choudhary, Director of NTA, in the presence of Dr. Subodh Kandamuthan, Dean-LDP at ASCI, Dr. Reeta Mahajan, Senior Administrative Officer of ESIC Medical College and Hospital, and senior officers from both organizations. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to professional development and knowledge generation in healthcare management.
The initiative will facilitate a series of joint programmes, including training sessions, seminars, webinars, symposia, and workshops. It also encourages the collaborative publication of research papers, white papers, policy guidelines, and other academic outputs. The collaboration envisions mutual sharing of infrastructure, resources, and expertise to enhance the national healthcare ecosystem through data-driven insights and managerial innovation.
Established in 1956, ASCI is a premier institution of excellence in management education, governance, and capacity building. It operates as a self-supporting think tank that trains corporate managers and government officers through over 200 management development programmes annually. Meanwhile, NTA, established in 2005 and headquartered in Dwarka, functions as ESIC’s apex training institution, shaping a citizen-centric and skilled workforce in alignment with India’s governance and healthcare goals.
