Ashwadhama Exhorts Striking Crew To Ignore CM’s Call

Hyderabad, Nov.3 (Maxim News): TSRTC employees unions JAC leader Ashwadhama Reddy today said the statement of Chief Minister urging the striking workers to return to their duties without any condition was aimed at creating new problems. He said it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister was not intending to hold talks with the employees despite the fact that several workers were committing suicides demanding fulfilment of their demands.

Reacting to the statement of the Chief Minister, he said it was even more unfortunate that the Chief Minister was asking the workers to return to work without solving their problems. He doubted that the statement of the Chief Minister was aimed at influencing the High Court and advocates in the State. He made it clear that they would continue their agitation till their demands were met. He said that nobody had powers to remove the employees from their service.

Ashwadhama Reddy urged the employees to not respond to the call given by the Chief Minister and resume their duties. Describing the Chief Minister’s statement that the ongoing strike was illegal, he said they were postponing road blockade program scheduled for November 5 by keeping in view the judicial exams.

Meanwhile Keshava Krishna, who was working as an assistant depot manager at Uppal Depot, rejoined duty , in the wake of CM KCR’s appeal to the RTC workers to rejoin work by November 5. He handed over the letter to the depot manager on Sunday becoming the first person to join duty in the wake of the deadline announced by the CM. (Maxim News)
