Ashwathama Deplores CM’s Comment On Trade Unions

Hyderabad, Nov.29 (Maxim News): TSRTC JAC President Ashwathama Reddy today alleged that the RTC management swindled funds.

Talking to mediapersons here today, Ashwathama condemned the State government for stating that there was no place for trade unions in the corporation. The Labour Commissioner has to decide on the existence of trade unions and elicit opinion of workers, he said. “The JAC leaders are not just for fighting for rights and were ready to work if necessary”, Ashwathama Reddy said, adding that trade unions played a key role in statehood movement and for rights and issues of the workers. The State government cannot take a unilateral decision to derecognize the unions, he felt.

He also demanded that the State government pay give salaries, PF and address all issues of the RTC workers. (Maxim News)
