Atamras Keertan Darbar on Feb 23 & 24
- ATAMRAS KEERTAN DARBAR WILL BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 23 AND 24, AT GURUDWARA GURU SINGH SABHA, AFZALGUNJ AND KEYES HIGH SCHOOL, SECUNDERABAD
Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): The Khalsa Seva Dal in cooperation with Prabhandak Committees of Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad, Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha, Afzalgunj and Amrit Soma Parivaar are going to organise a two day ”Atamras Keertan Darbar” on a large scale on February 23 and 24.
The mass congregation is dedicated to 550st ”Prakash Purab” (birth anniversary) of First Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism, Sri Guru Nanak Devji.
Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad, President, S Baldev Singh Bagga along with Secretary, Avtar Singh Khandooja, Khalsa Seva Dal President, Surinderpal Singh, members Harpreet Singh Gulati, Rajender Singh Thakral and Gurmeet Singh Makhija said that renowned Ragi Jathas (prominet Sikh preachers) from different parts of the country have been invited to render Gurubani Keertans (religious hymns) and Kathas (sermons) and throw light on the teachings of Sikh Gurus on Saturday and Sunday.
Surinderpal Singh said that Atamras Keertan Darbar (mass congregation) will be organised on February 23 (Saturday) at Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha, Guru Nanak Marg Afzalgunj from 7.30 PM to 11 PM.
Another large scale congregation will be held on February 24 (Sunday) from 11 AM to 3.30 PM at Keyes High School, Secunderabad.
Prominent Ragi Jathas (preachers) Bhai Gagandeep Singh (Ganganagar, Rajasthan), Bhai Amarjeet Singh (Patiala, Punjab), Bhai Mehtab Singh (Jalandhar, Punjab) and Giani Jagdev Singhji, Head Granthi, GSS Secunderabad will render Gurbani keertans (hymns) and Gurbani Vichar (sermons) during the two days programme. During the two days programmes, Guru ka Langar, tea and snacks will be served to the devotees irrespective of caste and creed.
He said that nearly 15,000 to 20,000 Sikh devotees and others from across Telangana state and twin cities would participate in the mass congregation.
