Authoritarian KCR Should Mend His Ways: Chada
Hyderabad, May 23 (Maxim News): Telangana State CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today said the people in the State, who delivered a massive mandate to the TRS in the December 2018 Assembly elections, taught a lesson to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the just released Lok Sabha elections.
In a pressnote here today, the CPI leader said the TRS’ oft-repeated slogan “Saru-Caru-Padaharu” (Sir, Car and sixteen) proved wrong with the electors shattering the dreams of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao by yielding only half of the expected seats. The CPI leader hoped that the Chief Minister KCR would mend his authoritarian tendencies and rule the State in conformity with the democratic principles.
Venkat Reddy also said the landslide victory registered by the YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh was unimaginable. The victory march of the BJP-led NDA in all parts of the country would open the eyes of all power-mongering Opposition parties, who dreamt of preventing Prime Minister Narendra Modi from retaining his post. Especially, the Left parties should ponder over the political situation and know the people’s pulse deeply. (Maxim News)
