Hyderabad: Tension broke out in parts of Hyderabad after a poster of Ayatollah Khamenei was allegedly torn by some youngsters. The incident took place at Moula Ali Kaman in Malkajgiri on Wednesday night and quickly created unrest in the local area.

According to the information available, local Shia groups had earlier installed posters at Moula Ali Kaman. The posters were put up following the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Reports said the leader was killed in joint US Israel airstrikes in Tehran on February 28. The posters were placed as a form of protest by local residents.
