Bail Granted to YS Sharmila

Bail | Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): YSRTP President, Y S Sharmila has been granted bail. The Nampally court granted her conditional bail. The Court granted bail to Sharmila with a surety bond of Rs. 30 thousand.

The court made it clear that the Court’s permission is mandatory for going abroad. It is known that Sharmila was arrested on Monday in the case of an attack on the police (Sharmila vs TS Police). The arguments of both sides were heard in the Nampally Court. Sharmila’s lawyer told the court that the police arrested her illegally. Sharmila’s lawyer said that all the sections registered against Sharmila are punishable by 6 months and 3 years imprisonment.

Sharmila’s lawyer argued that the police did not ignore the High Court rules. The lawyer on behalf of the police argued that Sharmila had obstructed the police duties. It was heard in the court that there are cases against Sharmila in many police stations and if Sharmila is granted bail, the investigation is likely to be affected. The police informed the Nampally court that the witnesses are yet to be questioned in the case. It is noteworthy that the Nampally Court, after hearing the arguments of both sides, favored granting bail to Sharmila. (Maxim News)
