Balanagar Excise Police Seized 560 Kgs of Chloral Hydrate

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): Balanagar Excise Police on Wednesday seized 560 kg of chloral hydrate during the inspection of vehicles at old Bowenpally dairy Farm Road.

According to the report of the Excise Police, while checking the vehicles, it was found that 560 kgs of chloral hydrate (to be used for intoxication) was being transported in a car. The person driving the car was detained and questioned.

The accused Bapalli Ramagoud (43) from Nizamabad resides in Boinpally, Raju, a businessman from Mumbai, sold chloral hydrate at Rs. 200 and transported it to Adilabad and some other place for Rs. 400 per kg which has been revealed to the police by him. The police seized 560 kg of chloral hydrate, a car and a cell phone.

A case has been registered against Rama Goud. Raju and six others who do business in Adilabad. Rama Goud was taken into custody and sent to remand.
