Bandaru Dattatreya ‘Alai Balai’: Many Celebrities Attended
Hyderabad, Oct 3 (Maxim News) ‘Alai Balai’ was inaugurated at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds under the auspices of Vijaylakshmi, daughter of former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. This program is organized every year on the day after Dussehra. Many celebrities attended it.
Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, former Governor Vidyasagar Rao, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, retired Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Justice NY Ramana, BJP MP Laxman, famous film actors Nagarjuna, Brahmanandam, MLA Sujana chowdhury, CPI leader Narayana.
Tejas leader Professor Kodandaram, former MP V.Hanumantha Rao, MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga and others were present. Dattatreya welcomed them with scarves.
Dattatreya started this program to promote unity among political leaders during the Telangana movement. Alai Balai was started to showcase the culture and food habits of Telangana (Maxim News)
