Bandlaguda Police Arrested Two Accused: Seized 8.364 Kgs Of Ganja

Hyderabad, Jan 8 (Maxim News): Bandlaguda Police arrested two accused A-1 Bijay Takri @ Bijay, aged about – 51 years, Occupation: Coal Business, Native of Nalagunthi, Sisugura, Malkangiri, Odisha and A-2 Chandan Majhi @ Chandan aged about – 32 years, Occupation: Sentring, r/o Native of MPV .36, Nalagunthi, Malkangiri, Odisha Presently r/o Kothur (V & M), Ranga Reddy District and seized 8.364 kgs of Ganja from their possession.

The facts of the case are that on 07.01.2024 while the patrolling team led by Ch Ravi, SIP PS Bandlaguda was performing patrolling in the limits of PS Bandlaguda, and at about 16.20 hours when they reached the area of ISL College backside two persons who were in possession of a Parcel and a Black color bag, they tried to flee away upon seeing the Patrolling party.

The SIP along with the staff apprehended the persons and upon inquiry, they revealed that they had Ganja in the packed parcel and the black color bag.

The SIP informed about the same to his superior officers and completed the legal formalities and seized 8.364 KGS of ganja from the possession of the accused persons.

The accused persons have revealed that they have procured the ganja from their native place in Odisha and were trying to sell the same to needy customers on the city outskirts and at secluded places to earn easy money.

The SIP seized the Ganja and brought the accused persons to the Police Station and lodged the complaint upon which the case has been registered. The arrested accused are being produced before the court for judicial remand. (Maxim News)
