Bangladesh Violence:  “Hindus Are Being Targeted”: Raja Singh 

Hyderabad, Jan. 25: Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh on Sunday strongly condemned the rising attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, calling the situation “deeply disturbing” and urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take firm and immediate action.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Raja Singh said the condition of Hindus in the neighbouring country has worsened significantly.

Raja Singh referred to the recent shocking incident in Dhaka in which a man, Chanchal Chandra, was allegedly burnt alive, triggering outrage across communities.

“The time has come for the Prime Minister to show decisive leadership. Hindus in Bangladesh are living in fear,” Raja Singh said, adding that protecting the lives of Hindus in the neighbouring nation is India’s moral responsibility.

Recalling history, the BJP leader stated that Bangladesh was once part of undivided India and that India’s support played a crucial role in its separation from Pakistan.

“Forgetting that support, violence against Hindus is continuing. This cannot be ignored any longer,” he asserted.

The remarks come amid growing concerns over minority safety in Bangladesh, with several reports of attacks, vandalism, and killings drawing international attention.
