Bangladeshi MP Killed In Kolkata

Kolkata/Hyderabad, May 22 (Maxim News): A Bangladeshi MP was murdered in Kolkata. Bangladesh’s ruling Awami League MP Anwarul Azim Anar was killed by unidentified assailants on Wednesday (May 22) in Kolkata’s Newtown. It seems that MP Anwarul came to Kolkata from Bangladesh for a medical check-up on May 12. Azim is an Awami League legislator from Zenaida 4 constituency in Bangladesh.

According to the Kolkata Police, blood stains were found in the building where MP Anwarul Azim is believed to have been murdered. A forensic investigation is currently underway. Police suspect that the body may have been killed and dumped in the area. Police have arrested three Bangladeshis in this case, the motive behind the murder is yet to be known. (Maxim News)
