Hyderabad, Oct 17: State Director General of Police Shivadhara Reddy has urged organizers to conduct tomorrow’s BC Bandh peacefully.

The senior police official issued clear instructions that any unlawful activities or undesirable incidents during the bandh will face strict action from law enforcement agencies.

The DGP emphasized that police teams and surveillance units will monitor the situation continuously throughout the bandh period.

He specifically warned against creating any inconvenience for the general public during the protest.

We will ensure that common people do not face any problems,” Reddy stated while addressing the media regarding security arrangements.

Meanwhile, the Telangana BC JAC (Joint Action Committee) has called for a statewide bandh on October 18th to demand BC reservations.

The organization announced this protest as part of their ongoing struggle for justice regarding backward class reservation issues in the state.
