Hyderabad: A Betting App tragedy has claimed the life of a young man in Jagityal district after he allegedly suffered a loss of Rs 25 lakh. The incident occurred on February 26 and has left the local community in shock.
Mahesh, a singer from Lakshmipur in Jagityal Rural mandal, committed suicide at his house. According to the information provided, he had invested Rs 25 lakhs in a betting app. However, he did not receive the money back. Deeply upset over the loss, Mahesh ended his life by hanging himself.
The police reached the spot soon after the incident. They registered a case and started an investigation. Meanwhile, Mahesh is survived by his wife and two daughters. His death has cast a shadow of sadness over the village. Family members and villagers are struggling to cope with the sudden loss.
