Bharat Jodo Yatra instilled new confidence among BC communities: Shrikanth Goud

Hyderabad, January 30: TPCC OBC Dept Chairman Nuthi Shrikanth Goud said that AICC leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra gave new hope to Backward Classes in the country and instilled confidence that their problems would get resolved after Congress returns to power in the next elections.

Srikanth Goud was speaking to media persons after participating in celebrations of the completion of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the Amberpet Assembly constituency on Monday.

Led by Shrikanth Goud, hundreds of Congress workers paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his Martyrdom Day by garlanding his portrait. Later, they undertook a padayatra from the Red Building crossroads to the Mahankali Temple of Amberpet as part of ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ abhiyaan. They distributed Rahul Gandhi’s message letter and also a leaflet showing the failures of BJP and TRS throughout padayatra. They pasted ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ stickers on every door during the padayatra.

Shrikanth Goud informed that many youths joined padayatra voluntarily. People of Amberpet have announced their full support in bringing back the Congress party to power, he said.

Nuthi Srikanth Goud said that this time Congress would flourish throughout the country, including Telangana. He said Rahul Gandhi, during Bharat Jodo Yatra, has announced full support for the demands raised by BC communities. He said Rahul Gandhi had also supported the demand for a BC census in Telangana. He said that the TPCC OBC Dept would take Rahul Gandhi’s message to every household in Telangana. (Maxim News)
