Another bad news has come out of Bollywood. After Lata Mangeshkar, now Praveen Kumar Sobti, who played the role of Bhima in TV serial Mahabharata, has passed away. He was 74 years old.
He had been battling illness and financial constraints for a long time. He was known for his huge stature. He played the role of Villain in many Bollywood films.
Praveen’s filmography includes several films like ‘Karisma Kudrat Ka’, ‘Yudh’, ‘Jabardast’, ‘Sinhasan’, ‘Khudgarj’, ‘Loha’, ‘Mohabbat Ke Dushman’, ‘Elaka’ and others.
In the late 80s, he was signed to play the role of Bheem in BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’.
This character was very important in the mind of the audience.
