Heavy Rains In Telangana For Next Three Days, Alert Issued
Hyderabad, Oct 16 (Maxim News): Rains are falling in two Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh due to the cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal, the Meteorological Center of Hyderabad has predicted that there is a possibility of rains in Telangana for another four days due to the effect of the cyclone. to this extent, a yellow alert has been issued to many districts of the state.
There is a chance of rain in the Warangal, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, and Hyderabad districts. The government has been alerted by the weather forecast, it has alerted people inthe low-lying areas. GHMC and Disaster Response Force teams have been alerted due to the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains.
The AP Disaster management Organization has revealed that Andhra Pradesh will also experience rains due to the cyclone formed in the southwest Bay of Bengal, heavy to very heavy rain is forecast for parts of South Coast and Rayalaseema. It has been said that flash floods are likely to occur in Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa districts.
People in the low-lying areas have been advised to be alert in view of the prospect of heavy rains. Alerted people living in the river Penna basin to take precautions. The government has deployed 5 SDRF and 2 NDRF teams in the districts for relief operations. The cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal is currently centered at a distance of 280 km from Chennai, 320 km from Puducherry and 370 km from nellore. (Maxim News)
